The Connected Parent: Jewish Wisdom for a Resilient Family

Do you want to share a meaningful Jewish identity with your family, but don't know where to begin?

As a parent, you feel a deep pull to give your children a sense of belonging—an anchor in a complicated world. But that desire is often met with a wall of uncertainty. Perhaps your own Jewish upbringing was complicated or nonexistent. Maybe you're wrestling with your own doubts and feel like a hypocrite trying to teach something you're still exploring. So you hesitate, and the opportunity for connection feels like it's slipping away.

This leaves you feeling stuck—wanting to provide a foundation for your family, but feeling adrift yourself.

The Connected Parent: Jewish Wisdom for a Resilient Family is a two-part guided course designed to help you move from confusion to confidence. This is not a religious school or a history lecture. It is a practical, heartfelt journey to help you discover your authentic Jewish voice and share it with the people you love most.

Our unique path guides you first inward, then outward:

  1. Module 1: Finding Our "Why" in a World of "What" - Before you can share anything, you need a solid foundation. In this module, we give you the space to explore your own story and experiences. You will sift through the noise of tradition and expectation to build a solid, internal compass by defining the core values—like community, justice, or curiosity—that you truly want to pass on.

  2. Module 2: The Golden Chain: Connecting Your Child to the Family Story - Once you are grounded in your "why," we give you the practical tools to share it. You'll learn the simple art of storytelling to transform your family's history into a living, breathing source of connection and resilience, strengthening your link in the "Golden Chain" for the next generation.

After completing this course, you will:

  • Feel a clear and confident sense of your personal "why" for engaging with Jewish life.

  • Possess a toolkit of simple, powerful techniques to open the door to deeper conversations with your children (no matter their age).

  • Transform from feeling like a hesitant student to feeling like an empowered family storyteller.

  • Be able to create authentic, meaningful Jewish experiences for your family that are rooted in your values, not just obligation.

This course is for you if:

  • You identify as culturally or secularly Jewish and want to find a meaningful way to engage.

  • You feel "outside" of traditional religious institutions.

  • You are a parent, step-parent, or grandparent to children of any age—from toddlers to adults.

  • You are ready to stop worrying about doing it "right" and start building a connection that feels real.

You don't need to be an expert to be the storyteller and guide your family needs. You just need a place to start. Join us and find your path.
